I've been dining there since the mid '80s, mostly for their lunch buffet. Over the past 7 years the food there has become less & less enjoyable as if all the recipes have changed for the worse. After today I won't be going back because I've given them more than several benefits of a doubt. I give them a 4 for freshness of the ingredients but for taste it is a 2 at best.

Really good food. A little pricier for dinner, but the portions are very large and tasty. The waitress was nice and accomodating too. Will definitely recommend this place to others as well as return.

Sigh. Their ONE claim to fame was that their buffet was insanely cheap. And Bill himself..one of the nicest people you could meet. The various rotating staff is awesome. So why the two stars? The price keeps going up, but their food is still mediocre at best. I swear they haven't changed their items since 1972. And if you don't get there IMMEDIATELY at open..well, I feel sorry for you, because I doubt their table is up to temp...like WAY off, and you're going to be in for a rough ride. Honestly, this review is all about the buffet, because this is what every hung over college kid and near by construction worker goes for in the afternoon. And let's face it staff-wise.. and if you've been eating here for the past twenty years, you know what I mean...you go for the lookin', not the cookin'.. Bill..it hurts me to my soul to bang out two stars, and I hope your menu items rock..almost sure of it, but my locale is such I can go to other places..and buffet wise..well, there's much better places, now the prices have been ratcheted up. One day, though, Id love to go for a dinner, and crank you up to a four or five, but we all know where the money is...and it's time to revamp if you're charging 'normal' prices...sorry Mr. Ho. Believe me, I;m damn near crying while writing this. . but.. well..I gotta tell the truth...but as a side note..if you DO go buffet...at least have the decency to order a tea, hell, even a soda or beer...water makes you look like a fool and cheap. These are some real deal people here..at least show a little respect for the culture while you're trying to look cool eating with chopsticks...because water just marks you. And these are hard working people..just because it's a buffet, doesn't entitle you not to leave a tip.. Did the best I could, Bill....please check out your table, and PLEASE switch it up already...
